The Science Fair is a required project to be completed at home and turned in by February 6th for a project grade. This is a great opportunity for students to get hands on and learn about the engineering design process.
Teachers will be selecting 18 projects per grade level to be submitted to the actual science fair so do not worry if you do not want to submit your project.
You may complete it with a partner or individually. You can choose a partner from ANY 6th grade science class at EPMS.
I will be reviewing the steps of the engineering design process on Tuesday, January 27th and modeling an in class experiment on Wednesday, January 28th. Students can also join me at 8:05 this Thursday morning to brainstorm project ideas. I found great ideas on the Design Squad Nation website listed below.
Science Fair Guidelines can be found on the bottom of my school webpage.
